Can someone help me with the following?

*** Every time I open a report e.g. trial balance/profit & loss and enter a date in the From box e.g. 01/01/2017 Quickbooks do not let me enter a date in the To Box.

The software start generating the report without giving me the chance to enter a date in the To box.

 

If someone know how to fix this please let me know.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let's fix this by running the product update. Product updates improve program functionality and often fixes issues.

 

I'll guide you on how to run In-product update:

  1. In the QuickBooks drop-down arrow, choose Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  2. If a newer version is available, click Install Update.
  3. When prompted, select Install and Relaunch.
  4. QuickBooks for Mac automatically opens, when the update is complete.

Since the steps provided above didn't work, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the tools to pull your account and investigate the cause of the issue.

  1. Press F1 to open the Help window.
  2. From the search icon, type Contact Support.
  3. Click Contact us at the bottom part.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue about exporting and click the Search button.
  5. You'll be routed with How to connect with a QuickBooks expert and you choose which one is best for you.
  • Ask the Community – allows you to post your question broadly so that a variety of experts can answer.
  • Message an Agent – Allows you to chat directly with a support agent.
  • Talk to a Specialist – Arranges a callback from a support agent.
