Join nowI have QuickBooks Pro, 2010. All of our transactions are posted into the ledger dating back to 2011. I know how to print off the 2020 report BUT am I able to save ONLY the 2020 portion onto a memory stick by itself?
Thank you,
JanKron
We can customize the report, JanKron.
This way, we'll have the option to filter the report to show only the transactions for the year 2020.
You can do that by clicking the Customize Report button on the report. Then, select This Fiscal Year on the Dates field. Click OK and then click the Print button. Select Save as PDF.
I've also added this article for more informaton when customizing report: Customize Report in QBDT.
I'll be around if there's anything that I can help. Take care!
I followed your instructions and when I selected PRINT, Save as PDF wasn’t an option. The list includes Microsoft Print to PDF on PORTPROMPT: plus several other options. I do not have the Microsoft software on my laptop as I use OpenOffice instead. I have seen the option to Save as PDF using the same laptop and printer for other matters. Maybe the 2010 QB Pro software doesn’t allow the save as option.
Our new accountant had asked for the 2020 QB record to be saved onto a memory stick. I will give him a printed report instead which consists of only 20 pages.
Your detailed reply was very much appreciated.
Thank you.
