Join nowI’ve imported my purchases from Home Depot and it’s automatically populates everything. One of the categories on each expense was sales tax. The account for my Home Depot Expenses is now positive with the amount of all my sales taxes combined from all my purchases. I’m not sure how to fix this.

Allow me to assist you with your Home Depot purchases.
The expenses will appear as positive on reports such as Profit and Loss (P&L). It will, however, automatically deduct from your total revenue.
Take a look at the following screenshot as an example:
You'll want to double-check that the transactions are properly classified to avoid discrepancies. I've also included this link if you need help balancing your accounts: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
