Hi. I'm in North Carolina. When I printed my Sales Tax Liability Report this month, it has a new line with an amount and I'm not sure where it comes from or what to do with it when filling out my NCDOR E-500 form to file for sales & use tax. It's never been there before, so I don't know if it's something I did, or something new?
First Line is "North Carolina Department of Revenue" - Just a heading.
Second Line (the new line) is NC Sales Tax / Gross Amount / Non Taxable Amount / Taxable Amount / Tax Amount
Third Line is North Carolina State, which shows Gross, Non Tax, Taxable, and Tax Amount for the State Tax
And then lists 3 different counties that I've sold to in October, showing again the Gross, Non Tax, Taxable and Tax Amount for each county.
What am I supposed to do with NC Sales Tax when filling out the E-500?
