When my company goes to email out an invoice, we always had 3 options: 'save and close', 'save and new', or 'save and share link' but recently, on completely random invoices, it will only have 'save and new' or 'save and fund'. What is the 'fund' part about? We do not have our bank accounts set up through QuickBooks so I'm not sure what it's trying to tell us or prompt us to do. Its not on every invoice either, its completely random so we will click 'save and new', go back into it and now the 'save and fund' is no longer an option.
Thanks for bringing this up to our attention, Encantada43.
You are right that the only options in QuickBooks Online are Save and new, Save and close, and Save and share link. I can help share some steps that can resolve unexpected results when working in QuickBooks Online. Switch to an incognito or private browsing session, for it will not save any browsing history.
Here’s how to open a private window:
If you can no longer have that Save and fund option, I'd suggest clearing your regular browser's cache to eliminate excessive files in your browser. Otherwise, you an use other supported browsers.
If I can be of any additional assistance, do let me know. I'll be around to help.
Is this to get rid of the 'Save & Fund' option?? Just to be clear, we DO NOT want the 'Save & Fund' option...
Hello there, Encantada43.
I appreciate your time performing the recommended steps suggested by my colleague.
Since you're still seeing the said option, I suggest contacting our support. Also, you can provide us a screenshot for further investigation.
Here's how:
I have here an article that can help you customize your invoices. This will let you personalize the details on your sales forms.

I was able to solve this, although it took some time and the support team had no idea what I was talking about. First of all I am using the Safari browser on a Macbook computer and quickbooks online. The first think I did was clear my cache. Then I created an invoice and that annoying "fund" option came up. I read the instructions a little more carefully and noticed that it says "select save and send in order to use the fund option" (or something like that). I instead chose "save and close", went back in to the invoice and sent it to the client. When I created my next invoice, the "save and fund "option wasn't offered. I hope this helps.
Quickbooks, I'd like to personally thank you for confusing the heck out of this small business and disrupting what used to be a quick process to send an invoice to a client. Could we just select the option for "no ads" - you're getting to be as bad as a free gaming app. We do not do any funding through Quickbooks, and NEVER will. Stop showing me the ads, let me select the option to never show this ad, and please remove this "Save and fund" button, or at least put the normal button back!!! You really need to test your interface before launching new products. This shows us that you're not looking out for small businesses, just your own bottom line.
I hear your sentiments, @sweise. And I want to make sure this will be taken care of.
To remove the Save and Fund button, I'd suggest sending feedback to our product engineers. Let me guide you how:

I completely agree. This is absolutely ridiculous that save and fund is the first option now on the drop down when I send an invoice. I will never use this option and I resent having it there at all when I am paying monthly for QBO. This is far too intrusive for a marketing device.
Completely agree also..... your wasting my time. First responder nailed it ,
So disappointed.
talking to 3rd attendant presently , an hour or so into it nearing silence on hold, please get it together.

This is a "dark pattern" upsell that I'm absolutely enraged to see pop into my application. This should be opt in not the default button behavior!
Very bad, Quickbooks. Do better.
Just had this appear for us. What an absolute TRASH way of trying to upsell. Very sneaky. Sadly, this is what I've come to expect out of Intuit.
These guys are becoming sooo scummy. Looking for another accounting software. We used to be able to buy the software for 129 bucks and it worked flawlessly for 5-6 years = 2.15/month…Now they have us on the monthly bleeding which is at minimum 25/mo. THEN throw in this send and fund scam, and all the other pop ups. YOU GUYS ARE PISSING OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS! IM OVER IT.
Your "suggestion" was obviously useless, because this was sent 2 years ago and, in my case, this stupid option has just now started popping up, so it means that not only did you not get rid of the stupid scamming ad (and to make matters worse you put it there as if it were a legitimate option, when all it is you and your scammy company underhandedly attempting to squeeze more money out of us), but now you are deploying to even more people. JUST STOP! I am paying for this software! You are not giving it to me for free. I must be able to select what I want to use and how to use it without you all shoving your stupid additional services FORCEFULLY down my throat. Meanwhile you keep making changes geared to force features no one needs, that do not have any "value added for the customer" and that only make us all even angrier at you all. We are business people. We know what you are doing to us and we do not treat our client the way you treat us, because if we did, we would not have a business to enter into your stupid software. I am also looking for a different software, and if anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears. Main reason to use this junky one is the accountant, because if it were up to me, I would be using something, anything else. Shame on you Quickbooks. Disgusting.
