Management receive weekly scheduled reports which include the balance sheet. I added some sub accounts to one of the bank accounts for budgeting purposes. I don't want this information to be visible in their report. I hid the sub accounts when saving, however when the report went out this week , all the sub accounts are included. If I go back to the scheduled report in my custom reports & open it , they are hidden. Is there anyway to ensure they are not included ?

I recognize the need to hide the subaccount for the budgeting when sending management reports. However, this option is unavailable. This means that others can view this section in the report regardless if you collapse it during customization.
In the meantime, you can manually download this report by exporting it as a PDF or DOCX, then remove the subaccount outside QuickBooks.

Thank you for your response. I understand , its just that the reports are scheduled, so I would have to manually prepare them each week to hide the sub accounts in an excel report. I am off work next week for a few weeks , so I was hoping for a work around.
I did pull another report from the chart of accounts but it doesn't show the total bank balance just the sub accounts . If I could show the bank balance that would be okay . Is there anyway that it can show the total balance like the other bank accounts?
