Shared Reports not overriding when saved

I have numerous custom reports that I have shared with other Admins within QBO. When I update a report and save it, it does not override the existing reports on my co-workers QB. It just adds a new report. This needs to be fixed because he has no idea what report he needs to be using. Also, they are not in the categories I set up. So they are not organized in his QB log in. Why can't they just be the exact same when the are being shared?

Please don't give me the standard robot response. I know how to use tutorials I know how to look at the settings, and his user is set up as an Admin just like I am. I need a solution.

Shared Reports not overriding when saved

Hello there, @Anonymous. I'm here to ensure you'll be able to fix the shared custom reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, the changes made to a previously shared custom report do not automatically sync to the other users. Once a custom report is shared by selecting an option in the Share with field, you only give the user access to edit it. To allow other users to see changes, you can email a PDF or an Excel file of the report to them. For more details, please visit this article: Share custom reports.

The program also allows you to modify the details of your sales forms to show only the info you want your customer to see. For the detailed instructions, check out this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'm just around the corner to help if you have any other concerns managing your shared reports. Don't hesitate to leave a reply below. Have a good one and take care.
