When running the Estimates by Job report, the option to edit the rows is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. You can share your thoughts and ideas about this one in QuickBooks. - Go to the Help menu and click Send Feedback.
- Choose a category and enter your comments or suggestions.
- Click Send Feedback when you're done.
What we can do in QuickBooks is to edit the columns to show only the Job title, Date Created, Sales Rep Name, and Amount of Estimate in the report. Let me show you how:
- Go to the Reports menu at the top.
- Click Jobs, Time & Mileage.
- Select Estimate by Job report.
- Tap the Customize Report tab.
- In the Columns field, look for Job title, Date Created, Sales Rep Name, and Amount of Estimate or nearest name on the column's lists.
- Press OK.
If you need to export the report to Excel, just follow the steps below:
- Click the Excel drop-down from the top menu, then Create New Worksheet.
- Tap Export.
- Go back to the main Jobs Estimate vs. Actuals Details, and then Double-click the Total amount under Est. Cost.
- Click the Excel drop-down, then Create New Worksheet.
- Press Export.
