I’ve gone thru the products and settings and turned on the SKU so it showed up on my invoices. I’ve also input SKUs for my products but when I make a invoice it will not let me select the SKU field. All other fields are active. Anyone know how I can make this useable? Thank you

If you're referring to the QuickBooks Online interface, the SKU number will auto-populate in your invoices when selecting an item. We're unable to choose the specific SKU number in that field. Just make sure to add this information to the Product and Services page before selecting the item in your sales forms.

That makes sense. I was wanting to use a barcode scanner for the SKU field to add parts to my invoices. All the fields are accessible except the SKU field. Wish I could do it that way.

Just bought a label app from QBs app store, and just realized it is useless "reading" barcodes it with my scanner without the SKU search enabled.

As my colleague shared above, we're unable to search on the SKU field since it is entered automatically.
If you want to modify the SKU number, you can go the product's profile and change it from there.
