if you wish to revert to the old invoice layout.,, here's how to switch back to the old layout: Click the "+New" button, then choose "Invoice." At the top-right corner of the screen, you'll see an "Old layout" button, click it. A prompt will appear; click "Leave" if you're ready to switch. Now you should be back to the familiar layout you prefer.

We appreciate you visiting the Community, Elizabeth.

I recognize your need to switch to the old invoice layout you got used to, as familiarizing the new one takes more time and effort. I have the steps you need so you can achieve your goal.

In QuickBooks Online, customers are migrated to the new estimate and invoice experience to make their business process more efficient and improve productivity. With this, switching back to the old interface is an option for Plus and Advanced users until May 6, 2024.

Here's how:

  1. Click +New, then Invoice.
  2. Select  Old layout at the top right of the form.

However, this option is no longer available if you have a Simple Start and Essential subscription.

Moreover, you can review this article to familiarize yourself with the new estimate and invoice experience: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Add a reply on this thread if you have additional questions regarding the new invoice layout and other related concerns in QuickBooks Online. We'll be around to lend a hand.
