Something's not quite right Please update the product/service with sales information before marking it as billable

I'm getting the message above when I'm in my expense page. I have inserted 80 billable items and I can't save my progress.

I'll help you fix this, kennethxlara11-y.

 

The error message you've encountered usually appears when there's a need for you to review the item details. To get rid of it, you'll have to select I sell this product/service to my customers checkbox and then assign the appropriate income account and tax code to the item that's shown in the error. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu, then select the Products and Services tab.
  2. Locate the product/service item, then click Edit from the Action column.
  3. Tick the I sell this product/service to my customers checkbox.
  4. Click the Income account drop-down menu and choose the account you want to use to track the sale.
  5. Set the appropriate tax code.
  6. When you're done, hit Save and Close.
