Join nowHi, does anybody know how to sort a reconciliation report by amount in Windows Quickbooks desktop? I used to use Mac Quickbooks desktop and it can be sorted by clicking "amount" but Windows one is different. It doesn't work that way. Please advise. Thank you.

Being able to sort the Reconciliation report would be helpful as it would be quicker and easier to find values. You may consider exporting it in spreadsheet software. Then, you can sort a range or table of data on one or more columns.

Furthermore, there are various financial reports available in QuickBooks that give you snapshots of different areas of your business. You can also customize them and focus on the details that matter the most to you.

Thank you for the reply. So, it is impossible to sort the report by amount without exporting to an excel spreadsheet, correct?
That is correct, 05Greathead.
In the meantime, you can follow the steps provided by my colleague LieraMarie_A. Then, manually edit the report to sort the amount from the Excel spreadsheet.
You can also share this suggestion to our product developers. They'll review this idea and might consider updating it in the future.

Sorting by amount in Desktop works fine for me. I just click on the Amount column:

Yes, that's why QuickBooks has had the sorting feature for many years. Why would you tell a customer that sorting isn't possible when it is possible and has been for many years?
