Subtitle (period) of Reports

Hi team,

I have created reports and make a setting on Header/Footer for the period of report (eg. January 2022 through December 2022). However, when we choose period on the report (eg. January 2022 through October 2022), the report will not follow the the chosen period. Could you please advise how to set up?

Subtitle (period) of Reports

It looks like you changed the default text for this period from "January through December 2022" to "January 2022 through December 2022".

Once you do that, then the text is considered customized and no longer updates when you change the date range of the report. As far as QuickBooks is concerned, you might have entered "Mikey Mouse" in the field. It just knows you customized it and so it stops updating it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @MPC7. I know how important it is for you to keep track of your transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Let me share some information on how we can fix this.

Before anything else, can you please tell me what specific report you're trying to pull up? That way, we can check if there are similar issues that other user experience.

Please know that if you customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop, you'll need to click anywhere within the report to apply the changes. Here's an article for further details: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please comment down below if you have clarification or additional information in fixing this concern. I'd be glad to assist you. Stay safe and hydrated!

I have created a customize report, which the period I chosen, the report will not follow my change (the last cap screen). Can you please advise how to change the setting? @GebelAlainaM  RE: I know how important it is for you to keep track of your transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The customer is using QB Desktop. You should know that.

RE: Before anything else, can you please tell me what specific report you're trying to pull up?

The report doesn't matter. The all work the same way. You should know that.

RE: After you do that and still get the same concern, we can run the Verify and Rebuild tools. This tool can help you resolve the missing transactions from the lists or reports.

There aren't any missing transactions, and there's nothing wrong that verify will detect or rebuild will fix. You should know that.

RE: Please comment down below if you have clarification or additional information in fixing this concern.

That might be a helpful suggestion if there was anything wrong. But there isn't. You should know that.
