Buy nowI'm using the QuickBook Desktop Pro 2020.
Everthing was fine at the beginning, but there is just a Summary Amount showing up in the Account QuickReport, not details.
Even I double click this summary amount, same page coming out, not details.

@MandyZhang- That would be because you're working with the Retained Earnings account.
This account represents the cumulative effect of the net profit and net losses of prior years.
That is, at the end of each year, QB will automatically roll over that year's net income to Retained Earnings. This is necessary in order to both show your actual net income each year, and maintain a proper balance sheet.
I don't know if there's a way to force it to show you the individual make-up of it, but it's not really relevant anyway; that account is made up of every single income and expense transaction that has been entered into your company prior to the current year.
That is to say, the details would be pretty useless. If you still want them, you'd be just as well off making a Custom Detail Report for just income, expense, other income and other expense accounts for last year and prior.
Hello Mandy, thank you for providing screenshots and for doing the troubleshooting supplied by my colleagues. Let me give you insights about Retained Earnings.
In QuickBooks Desktop, Retained Earnings don't have an actual transaction for closing entries. The program automatically creates a closing entry at the end of the fiscal year to transfer the balance from the Income and Expense accounts.
Since the system creates closing entries, we can't QuickZoom on these transactions, unlike the manual adjustment you recorded.
