If you want to set-up the variables in searching to have effective results. You can do that by clicking on the Advanced Search. I can show you the steps.
- In your QuickBooks company, click on the Magnifying glass icon.
- Select Advanced Search at the bottom-right corner of the search section.
- You can filter it depends on your preference.
- Hit Search after setting up the variables.
It will show a series of results filtered on the search page. Also, I added additional reference for you to check out: Search for transactions.
