Upload a spreadsheet to a journal entry

I would like to upload an Excel spreadsheet into a Quick Books journal entry.  Is this possible?

Upload a spreadsheet to a journal entry

I know a way to import your journal entries in QuickBooks Online, JRDAY.

As of now, we can only import deposits, checks, and payments in QuickBooks Online. As a workaround, I'd suggest using a third-party tool to import your journal entries. You can check for supported apps on our QuickBooks Apps Store page or from the Apps menu.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Apps menu at the left pane to get to the Finds Apps page.
  2. Enter a keyword in the Search address (i.e import).
  3. Select the app you wanted to use.
  4. Click Get app now.

In the meantime, I'd recommend visiting our QuickBooks Blog site. From there, you can read the latest news and updates from QuickBooks including product improvements, company news, and a lot more.

You can also import your lists to QuickBooks Online. This saves you from having to set up the items from your lists one by one.

Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in importing your journal entries. It's my priority to enter the transactions successfully.
