Vendor Ledger Report

Thank you so much for taking the time to detail your experience and concerns with clarity and specificity, @Jain. We truly appreciate your dedication to our products, having been a devoted QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) user since the 1990s. Your loyalty doesn't go unnoticed, and your patience and persistence in adapting to QuickBooks Online (QBO) is commendable.

Let's delve into some possible solutions and enhancements that could help streamline your experience with QBO, ensuring that the essential info remains at your fingertips without causing unnecessary headaches.

In QBO, you can hover over the Expenses tab. This way, you can filter the status and category of your vendor's bill.

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigational panel, look for the Expenses tab.

Vendor Ledger Report

Thanks for your fast response!  I confess it is late in the day and you wrote a lot, all of which I will deep dive into tomorrow.  But one fast comment?  You outline six separate steps to seek the information I want but that seems exceptionally excessive.

In QBD, I go to the Vendor list, down to the specific Vendor and there is all the information right there in one place at my fingertips.  Barely more than two keystrokes versus six steps.  Appreciate the feedback and all and, again, trying to be patient and positive but, just say'n, QBO has a bit of a Rube Goldberg feel to it.

But in fairness, I will review more specifically what you have sent and give it a test drive to see if it provides what I am seeking.  I won't pre-judge what my first impression of taking six steps to run reports and do filtering, which felt like thats not the golden answer I'm seeking.

Thanks!
