Viewing item price history & changes

Hello,

I'm wondering if there is any way to see when an item's price was changed and if so, by how much and by who. The only solution I can find online related to this subject is this: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/other-questions/price-history-on-inventory-items/0... but the audit trail function doesn't seem to allow you to see when there was a price change implemented. I'm having some issues in my company with prices being wildly different from a previous price and price increases that are inconsistent with a +5% or +10% increase that I personally had implemented.

Thanks

Viewing item price history & changes

The ability to view if there's a price change implemented is a great functionality, TKCEI.

As of now, only the Audit Trail report allows us to see the item's price history. Since some features aren't available, I'd recommend sending feedback directly to our Product Development team. This helps us improve the features in the program.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and then select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose Product Suggestion.
  3. Add the type of feedback.
  4. Type in your feature suggestion.
  5. Once done, click Send Feedback.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help you assign a unit of measure in QuickBooks. This ensures you can easily track your products: Show Quantities, Prices, Rates, and Costs for an Item.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance in managing your inventory in QuickBooks. It's always my pleasure to help you out.
