Thanks for posting in the Community, @balvant-ramani. I'm here to ensure you'll get the right support in resolving incorrect tax and line amount settings using invoice Application Program Interface (API).

We have a separate and dedicated forum that handles API concerns for QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'd suggest posting your question from there. One of our developers can provide you an accurate resolution to fix your invoice API issues. They can also confirm if there's a bug in the program. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online under What do you need help with?
  3. Click Ask a Question
  4. Sign into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one.
  5. Enter "Fix incorrect tax and line amount settings using invoice API" in the Question box.
  6. Click Ask

The screenshot below shows you the last two steps.

As always, you can utilize the invoice API topics by going to the API Docs & Tools menu. Then, select QuickBooks Online and choose API Reference. After that, click Invoice from the left panel as seen in the screenshot below. From there, you can also browse other related API topics for QBO.

I'll be right here to help if you need anything else. Have a great day, @balvant-ramani.
