We get pledges for our Gala

Hi Alex,

We have an annual fund-raising Gala.  We have been keeping track of the pledges manually in the past.  I would like to create invoice in QBO for each pledge, but our controller says we can't do that because we don't want the Gala Receivables mixed in with our regular receivables.  Is there a way to create an invoice that can go to a different (Gala) receivables account?

Let me help you in recording the pledges.

QuickBooks Online only uses a single and the default Accounts Receivable although you can set up more than one. Instead, you can track the different types of funds with the use of sub-accounts, or Location or Class Tracking.
