That being said, I'm not sure if that one will be compatible with Windows 11; that one looms on the October 2025 horizon.

Is it easy to move my data to the new version QB 2021. I did a back up...I assume just download and restore?

Normally, I'd say yes.
However, 2009 is more than a hop, skip, and jump away from 2021; my understanding is that it is generally wise to try to bridge the gap if you can. Do you have QB programs for any years between 2009 and 2021?
I do not have any other versions. I really need to get updated. It looks like I need to download 2013 then 2017 then 2021. Or.......go the dreaded subscription route. Hoping I can find a salesperson that can bring my data over.
I am not sure you can restore the backup file directly on QB Desktop 2021. You can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA if you need help to upgrade your company file.
