What happened to the Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position

Hi @bwayne,

If you mean to pull up the Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position report. Let me guide you on how.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Find report by the name search bar, type in the name of the report.
  3. Choose the report to open.

You can also check this article on how to use reports in QuickBooks: Run reports.

For a reference, I'm including an article that goes over customization of your reports in QBO: How to Customize Reports.

I look forward to providing further assistance. I'm here to help.

What happened to the Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position

Thanks, MaryAnn that's great general knowledge. I was wondering where did the preformatted SOA and SOFP reports that used to be part of QBO for Nonprofits go.  I just want what I had in QBO for the past three years.

It's great that reports can be customized but I don't have time to customize to get what I already had.

Thnx.

What happened to the Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position

Thanks for coming back, bwayne.

The Statement of Activity and Statement of Financial Position report is available for Nonprofit organization company type. If you're referring to these reports not showing in the report list, it's possible the Tax form type is not set to Nonprofit organization.

Let's go to the Account and Settings page to check the tax form setup. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Account and Settings.
  3. Hit Company.
  4. Tick the Pencil icon on the Company type section.
  5. Under Tax form, let's make sure the Nonprofit organization (Form 990) is set up. If not, click the drop-down button to select it.
  6. Press Save.
  7. Tap Done.

Then, log out and log back into QuickBooks Online (QBO) to apply the changes.

If the same thing happens, we can try accessing QBO using a private window. There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full or damaged and when it happens, pages don't load properly. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues.

Just press CTRL + Shift + N for Google Chrome, or click the Settings and More icon in the upper-right hand corner, and then select New In Private window for Microsoft Edge.

If it works, go back to your original browser and clear the browser's cache to delete the temporary Internet files. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browser. For the steps and details, please check out this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

I've got a link here where you can find articles about customizing and running reports:https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/reports/07?product=QuickBooks%20Online.

Feel free to touch-based with me if you need anything else in QBO. I'm glad to help.
