Hi there, CPADEA.
Let me share some insight into how ODBC works in QBDT.
The QuickBooks ODBC Driver is a powerful tool that allows you to connect with live data from QuickBooks directly from any applications that support ODBC connectivity. Access QuickBooks data like you would a database read, write, and update Customers, Transactions, Invoices, and Sales Receipts, through a standard ODBC Driver interface.
Take note that this driver does not support writing to all areas of the accounting database since some areas in QuickBooks are protected.
To ensure that you'll get accurate answers to your questions, I'd recommend directly contacting FLEXquarters (the developer of QODBC). They'll be the ones to explain the supportability and integration policies to you.
I'm also adding these articles to learn more about how Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver works in QuickBooks Desktop: Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) Driver FAQs.
Please know that you're always welcome to swing by if you have follow-up questions or concerns. Drop them in the reply section, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Take care and stay safe.
