Hello, @cscharlesiv.

Thank you for the detailed information. Adding the receipts and bills in QuickBooks shows up in the For Review tab where you can review, edit, and match transactions. Take note that imported banking transaction and a receipt are both in For Review, QuickBooks won’t suggest a match until you select Add for one of them.

Here's how you can review, edit, and match transactions:

  1. On the left navigation pane, select Banking or Transactions.
  2. Click on the Receipts tab, and select the row to have a side-by-side view of the receipt you sent and the data we extracted.
  3. You can also select:
    • Review to edit the extracted information for the receipt. If there are multiple matches, selecting Review allows you to choose the match you want.
    • Add to create a new expense in QuickBooks with the receipt attached.
    • Match when you’re ready to match the receipt with an existing record in QuickBooks.

Indeed sir.

But I was refering specifically to the function of uploading a receipt or other documentation when adding from the bank feed in the review tab. Matching is something else ;) On all transactions I'm able to upload. But Sales receipts specifically.... when uploading before completing the adding of the transaction the file uploads and once saving it should be linked to the transaction but it's not..... I'm having to go back to the audit log to reopen the transaction and link the file as if I'd uploaded it separately.

Hi there, @cscharlesiv.

The browser's memory may have loaded with files that make QuickBooks features unable to function well. This way, I'd suggest using a private browser to see if this is a browser-related issue.

You can open a supported browser and then follow its keyboard shortcut below to utilize private browsing mode:

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl Shift N
  • Firefox: Press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

From there, open your QuickBooks account and review if the attachment are link to the transaction in the Banking page.

If you're able to see the sales receipt linked to the transaction, I encourage you to clear the browser's cache. It will help refresh the browser's performance and load new data from the server. Otherwise, you can use another supported browser. I'd suggest Firefox.

Please let me know or share updates after running these troubleshooting steps if you need me to assist you. I'll be around to help. Have a great day!
