When I try to open my quickbooks company file I get a flag that says my subscription has expired. I checked the billing info. I still have the error. Any suggestions?

The products it is wanting me to resubscribe to are products that I no longer use

Thanks for posting your inquiry about being able to access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account after it expired, cerismantrucking. I appreciate you reaching out about this important matter.

To clarify, once a QBSE account expires, direct access is no longer possible. However, QuickBooks retains your data for one year, allowing you the opportunity to retrieve information or resubscribe if needed.

This explains why the system is prompting you to resubscribe when you attempt to open your account. If you need to retrieve specific information or reports from your account, consider temporarily reactivating your subscription. This will allow you to export any necessary data before canceling it again.
