I'm here to help you fix the issue, useralexanderzielins.
Being unable to send invoices using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app can be caused by a system delay in the program. Let's perform basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
To begin, let's refresh the application. Doing so helps in fixing any sorts of errors in the system.
Android device:
- Go to the More Options ⋮ menu.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Refresh Data, and then choose Yes.
For iOS:
- Go to Help & Feedback at the top menu bar.
- Choose Reset App Data. Then Refresh.
Once done, send invoices again. If the issue persists, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This is to ensure you get the most recent version of the application.
To uninstall
- Click the Start menu.
- Go to Settings, then select System.
- From the left pane, select Apps features.
- Choose the QuickBooks Windows app, then select the Uninstall button.
To reinstall
- Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/au/self-employed/.
- Double-click the file you downloaded to launch the installer.
- Select Next, then choose Agree & Install.
- Wait for the installer to run the rest of the way through.
- Once done, click on Finish.
Aside from that, you can also send invoices using the web browser. I recommend clicking this link to log in: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/. Click the Sign in button to continue, then choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Additionally, I've included an article that'll help track payments from your invoices. This is to ensure your record is accurate. To learn more, see this article's Step 3: Process an invoice section: Create Invoices.
