When using the mobile app, when I "snap receipt", it uploads the receipt twice. How do I fix it so it only uploads the receipt once?

Let's rectify your concern about snap receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @mkcbs. This way, you can easily attach them to your transactions. 

 

To begin, it's advisable to keep your application up-to-date to receive the latest features and fixes. Moreover, clearing the app data can eliminate common problems that may arise while using the application. This is to refresh the application, give it a good start, and improve its performance. Please ensure you're connected to the internet and proceed with the steps below:

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  3. Choose the Offload App button.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

 

Moreover, you can manually upload them on a web browser using the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Transaction menu and select Add Receipt.
  2. Then, upload the image. 

 

Another way is to utilize the receipt forwarding feature to email images of them to the application.
