I’ve got you covered with standard mileage information in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Let me guide you on how to add a trip manually:
- Choose Mileage.
- Click the + New icon to create a new entry.
- Enter the trip details and pick Save.
You may also set up automatic mileage tracking and here’s how:
Turn on the App
- Make sure you enable location services on your mobile device. Here are the steps for Apple (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices.
- In your QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app, go to the Mileage on the menu.
- Locate the Auto-tracking switch to turn it ON.
Once you turn on the mileage tracking, it will automatically track your trips from start to finish.
Note: Adjust your location settings.
- For Android devices, push Mileage and then the Gear icon.
- For Apple devices, press Mileage > Auto-tracking > Check Mileage Setting.
