Why am I charged an Intuit ACH fee after I pay a bill thru my bank account that has nothing to do with Intuit?

Every penny counts when running an industry, Teambrown. It's my pleasure to share more details about the ACH payment processing fees in QuickBooks Online.

When scheduling an ACH payment, you may encounter a notification mentioning potential processing fees of $0.50. These fees are calculated on the withdrawal date, not the scheduling date, and depend on the number of payments processed during the billing cycle.

Processing fees apply to transactions exceeding the allotted number of ACH payments included in your Bill Pay subscription for that month.

However, if you surpass the allocated number of ACH payments, additional processing fees will be levied for the exceeded transactions. Check out this page for more details: Learn about QuickBooks Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, if you need to discover how to access information regarding charges from Intuit to your credit card or bank account, refer to this page:    Understand Intuit charges on your credit card or bank statement.

Keep me updated if you need any further clarifications regarding the ACH fee. I'm here to assist you whenever you need it. Wishing you continued success in your business endeavors!

You may consider using a free bill payment app to integrate with QBO and pay your bills for free by ACH.
