I can help determine why your invoices begin with the letters CR.
If you’re referring to the invoice number, QBO automatically assigns it or the sequence. Since your invoices show CR, it's possible the Custom transaction numbers feature is turned on.
You can review the setup by following these steps:
- Go to the Gear icon at the top, select Account and Settings.
- Click Sales on the left panel.
- Click on the Pencil icon for Sales form content.
- Then check if the box for Custom transaction numbers is marked.
If that’s the case, open your invoices and enter the desired number. By the time you create another transaction, you’ll see the assigned description and the number automatically increments by one.
