Why are the email recipients I "cc" on my estimate not populating when I create an invoice from that estimate? Didn't have this issue last month??

Hello there, Dawn. Let me share some information about Cc not populating on your invoice page in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The email address will be included in the Cc field of the converted estimate to invoices if you select the Email me a copy option and provide an email address in the Cc/Bcc field from the Message section.

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then click Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Sales and scroll down to Messages section.
  3. Tick the Email me a copy box and fill in the Cc/ Bcc field.
  4. Hit Save and Done.

On the other hand, if you've already set the settings and still doesn't show. We can troubleshoot through some browser troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue.

To start, open your account in a private browsing window. This step can help identify if the issue is related to a cache-related problem. You can activate private mode using the following shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If this resolves the problem, you can clear your browser's cache to refresh it. If the issue persists, I'd recommend switching to another supported browsing application.

Furthermore, after your customer pays their invoices, you can then receive and record them in QBO.

Feel free to circle back if you still have additional queries about sales forms. I'm always here to help you.

Your response is not correct.  For the last several years, I have created an estimate for a project and the recipients listed on the estimate when converted to an invoice have carried over to the invoice.  It makes no sense that I would have to input the recipients email manually with each invoice when it is already on the estimate.  What a burden that would be!  To be clear though, the recipient email is carrying over to the invoice.  It's the email addresses for the CC or BCC that are not carrying over.  It's a glitch!  Something has changed in the last month.
