We approach QuickBook Hong Kong on the 13th May for a request of the online QuickBook. We wanted to know about the online software, but they never call us, and they never reply to us after we call their direct line from their Website.
Our IT personnel has experience in contacting them for a quotation, that's why he approach HK instead. However, he is not the end-user, so he doesn't know what we need and what we currently doing with QuickBook Pro 2019.
So, he help us to get the invoice for the payment, and they ask for our Backup thereafter.
However, my first login was not successful, because my email was setup for Intuit.
So, I made our call again to them for an answer. After our message was made, no one reply again. It was in the morning on the 29th May. So, I finally had enough of their non-sense and start to force them for a reply. I told them I will wait for them to give me a except timing for their callback, and they just said that they will follow up and I have to hold the phone for 12 minute for their proper reply.
At the time, I was also sending email to the support of QuickBook for an answer.
After I keep sending emails and keep sending e-fax to them, then finally they call.
But they request me to give them a new email for the excess within 5 minutes, otherwise they will be out on service again.
I think this is total unacceptable, so I log into the Intuit account and change my email. Thereafter I can finally log in. They wasted an 1 hour at least of my time, for the log in.
For entering bill:
When I used QuickBook Pro 2019, I can easy use one hand to do the entries. But with online QuickBook, I need to use both hands.
One hand for entering the product / item code, and the right hand has to use the mouse to chose the item. Otherwise the software would think that I need to enter a new item instead.
Hi there, accounts307.
What you're saying makes so much sense to me. I see you've put so much time and effort into this. Knowing that you're able to log in now makes you handle the situation well.
Let me share some information about the Online product. Same with desktop, it helps you manage the cash flow of your business. We can export and import your data as well as bring your transactions from your bank. There are so many things that we can talk about this product. I encourage checking out this article from time to time to get more information about the software: It's all about QuickBooks Online.
QuickBooks Online and Desktop are quite similar when adding an item. In QuickBooks Desktop, the product shows based on the item type while in QuickBooks Online, it shows alphabetically. If there are several items were added, we use to enter the keyword to find the product/item easily.
With that, I would recommend entering the first two or three letters of the item in the bill. This way, we'll be able to see the right one in the selection.
I would like to attach this article where we can find the keyboard shortcuts. It serves as your guide on how to speed up your navigation by finding the information or transaction you need in QuickBooks.
If you have questions about QuickBooks Online in the future, just tap me on my shoulder. I'll help and respond to you as soon as possible. Keep safe.
This must be a tough experience for you, but the good thing is you can log in now.
About entering a bill, you can just type the first three letters of the item name and you will see a suggestion drop list. Just select the item from the list.
