Why can't I click the "Billable" check box? Billable transactions are turned on in settings and it worked before.

Hello, Krez. Let's collaborate on how to mark the billable checkbox in QuickBooks Online.

Please note that the billable checkbox is only available for transactions such as bills, expenses, and checks. Additionally, this feature is only functional in QuickBooks Online Advanced and QuickBooks Online Plus.

If you encounter abnormal behavior or performance issues with QuickBooks, it may be due to browser-related problems. Since you can't mark the billable checkbox, we can try logging in to your QBO account using a private browsing window, as this ignores cookies and does not record browsing history or data, which may help resolve the issue.

Use these shortcut keys on your keyboard to access incognito mode:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If there's no issue with using a private browser, you can switch back to your regular browser and clear its cache.

Also, you might want to check out the article on system requirements for QuickBooks Online, which can help you ensure the best experience while using the platform.

Moreover, if you want to get a report of all the money paid to a vendor for the year, you can run a Transaction List by Date report

Furthermore, you can check out this article to learn how to download your data: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have further questions about billable transactions or QuickBooks-related concerns. Keep safe.
