Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product.
This can be the reason why you're unable to see the Save and close.
Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that will help you fix this right away. First, access your account in a private window. This mode doesn't record any activity on your local device. Here's how:
If they're able to see the button again, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Or else, use a different supported browser to open your QuickBooks account.
Additionally, there are several financial reports you can run to track your sales income in QuickBooks. They will show you helpful insights on the things you buy and sell, and the status of your inventory.

When I save an invoice where does it go?

After creating an invoice, it'll be saved to your customer's profile. You can go to the Customer page to view the transactions or to the Transactions page.
