Why can't Quickbooks autofill the transaction memo to the detail line memo?

I'll help share a few insights about auto-filling transaction memos in the detail line field in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and guide you in sending product recommendations to help improve the features of our products.

The option to autofill the transaction detail in the Memo field is unavailable in QBDT. You'll have to manually input the necessary details in the Memo field to keep your transaction data accurate and updated. 

We understand that this feature would be a great addition to our product. With this, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations. We take your suggestions as opportunities to improve the various features of our products.

Your valuable feedback will be forwarded and reviewed by our Product Development team to help improve your experience while using the program. Here's how:

1. Go to the Help menu.
2. Choose Send Feedback Online.
3. Click on Product Suggestion. 
4. Click on the drop-down for Type of Feedback and select Product Suggestion.
5. Select the Product Area.
6. Then enter your thoughts and suggestions.
7. Once done, select Send Feedback.

I have ALREADY sent in feedback and product suggestion.

Nothing has been done.

It's been over a year now and it's deflating.

Why did intuit take the option to autofill away? I don't know why they'd take that option away. Do you?

I WILL NOT accept this as a "solution".

This is broken and needs to be fixed.
