Why did status change on the format of the invoices in QBSE? When payment posts, it shows Paid 57 days ago???

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, RLC22.

Let's run some basic troubleshooting steps to rectify the issue. This is to rule out the potential of a webpage issue causing the improper posting of your payments.

The system's accumulated site data can become outdated, resulting in odd behavior in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Launching the program in incognito mode prevents internet files from being saved and allows the program to run smoothly.

Here are the shortcut keys on each browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the invoices' status shows the correct information, clear the cache and cookies of your regular browser to improve its overall performance. You can switch to other supported web browsers if the issue persists.

To tailor the layout of the sales form and set its preferences, see this guide for more details: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed
