Why does it take 45 minutes on hold to talk with customer service?

Because it's January. This happens every year.  sometimes it's much worse than 45 minutes. Hours, even. Intuit apologies, but does nothing about it.

Next year will be the same.

Why does it take 45 minutes on hold to talk with customer service?

Hello there, Lynchpin,

The wait time is due to the high volume of calls we're receiving due to tax season. You can choose to Get a callback from us so we'll be the one to call you on your most convenient time.

The Community is always open 24/7 as well. You can post your concerns here and we'll do our best to assist you. We also have other users who're capable to answer your questions.

Here's how to get a callback:

  1. Click the Help icon on your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a description of your concern, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select Get a callback.

You can always leave a reply on this thread if you have questions.
