Join nowHello there, @VincentOH.
I appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. At the moment, that's the format when entering the billable hours on to the invoice.
The option to change the time format is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Rest assured, I'll take note of this idea and share it with our developers. This suggestion will be analyzed by our Development team and may be added as one of QuickBooks Online's new features.
I would also suggest checking out our blog, so you'll be updated with our new feature released.

That is unfortunate that they have not corrected the issue after several years. I have found other articles that were several years old describing the same issue. I was hopeful that maybe it was fixed and the articles were just not updated. It is very misleading to show 0.5 on the screen when creating an invoice and then show 0:30 on the printed invoice.
Is there an update on this issue?
Thanks for taking the time to post here in the Community, @jessicanomics.
It seems that this is a relevant post that my colleague Angelyn_T has responded to from the other thread. If you haven't read it yet, you can check it out by visiting this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/reports-and-accounting/re-how-i-set-entering-billa...

Any chance that this has been addressed after a year? Requests were submitted to correct the issue.
Hello, @VincentOH. I understand your concerns about your time entries in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm here to share some information.
Currently, the time entries will still be converted when you print the invoices. I understand the importance of this feature to ensure you can enter your time entries.
Moreover, I recommend sending your valuable feedback to our product developers again so they can analyze this further. By doing so, you can help us improve our services and make your experience with QBO even better.
To submit your request, follow the steps below.
Please note that the number of feedback we receive will depend on how our engineers change the product.
Additionally, after receiving the invoice payment from your customer, you can now record it in QBO.
Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you within the program. Take care.
