Why is We're fetching your data stuck loading?

Thanks for letting us know about your concern, @mackendle.

I have the steps to fix the error you're experiencing when trying to access your data. This case may be caused by a variety of factors, such as an outdated browser version or a corrupted cache affecting the program's performance and leading to unusual behavior. You can open your QuickBooks Self-Employed account in a private window to verify.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed in and if the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing the stocked cache and cookies causing the issues.

If none fixes the problem, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They can take a closer look at your situation and investigate this further.

  1. Click the Help icon at the top and select Contact Us.
  2. Enter a brief description of your concern.
  3. Choose which way you want to connect with us: Chat with us or Have us call you.

Furthermore,  I've included our QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview for reference. To see how the program helps you track everything throughout the year.

Keep us posted if you have other questions about QuickBooks performance concerns. I'll be here ready to assist. Take care.
