Workflow or Scheduled Task Time of Day Trigger

Using the old report package, reports could be grouped together and scheduled to be sent together as one email on a recurring interval.  All of these scheduled report tasks would run at the same time (7am est), regardless of when the scheduled job was created.

 

Under the new report writer, I am not seeing where it is possible to group reports together.  Can that be done?

 

Also, scheduled jobs seem to run at random times on the day they are scheduled to run.  Can these be set to all run at the same time of day like the old reports do?

Before anything else, know we understand, and we appreciate you for letting us know about this. Also, we recognize how relevant this option is to group a report and schedule it to be delivered through email as one inside QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you're referring to the new report view, upon checking here, the feature to do it using the New Enhanced Experience is unavailable. However, we can help you send a feature request to our Product Development Team so they can evaluate it and consider adding it to future program updates. We'll gladly write down the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Workflow or Scheduled Task Time of Day Trigger

It is not acceptable to require customers to ask for a Feature Enhancement Request for a feature they have always had and was just taken away without any notice. I see it still exists in the Advanced version which our small not-for-profit cannot afford. This functionality should continue in Essentials and whatever other versions have had it for years especially since it just needs enabled as it has already been developed. When Enhancement means loss of functionality, that proves a company no longer cares about its customers.
