Year End Review Report for Customers

Hello there, @Cath_R.

I'm here to make sure you get your task done in QuickBooks Desktop.

You can pull up the Customer Contact List report to bring about a year-end review report for all of your customers. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Reports and select Customer Receivables.
  2. Click Customer Contact List.
  3. Filter the report in the Customer section to All or according to the data that you needed. You can also filter it to include active and inactive customers.

For detailed information, you can utilize this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

You can also visit this article to know how to import or export info with QBDT: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you have any further concerns about your reports, don't hesitate to post them here. Have a great day!

Year End Review Report for Customers

Hello,.

This is not quite what I am looking for.

I'll be a little more clear. I need a separate report to send to each of my customers. On the report I need the top to have the customers address. Then I need headers/columns to say project, date , number of the invoice, description and then the amount of the invoice?

I forgot to add that I need the report to say "year end review"

Thanks for coming back to the Community, @Cath_R. I'd be glad to assist you with running the report you need in QuickBooks Desktop.

QuickBooks Desktop does not support the report that displays the customer's address at the top and the year-end review. However, you can run the Transaction List by Customer report to track your invoices and filter them to reveal the date, invoice number, description, and amount. Here's how:

  1. Click Reports, then go to Sales.
  2. Select Sales by Customer Detail, then click Customize Report.
  3. Go to the Filters tab, then search for Transaction Type.
  4. Select Invoice.
  5. Also, search for the Date, Number, Item Description, and Amount.
  6. Click OK.

Then, export the report to excel. This way, you can manually add the column for Project and the Customers' address at the top of the report. Simply click the Excel dropdown button at the top, then Create New Worksheet.

To know your customers' address, you may follow the steps provided by my colleague JamesAndrewM. This will serve as your basis in adding the address to your excel.

If you want the same settings of the customized report to be available for future use, you may memorize reports in QuickBooks. This saves you from having to repeat the personalization procedure.

Feel free to get back to us if you need further assistance running reports in QuickBooks Desktop. We're always looking forward to helping you. I'm hoping for the success of your business, Cath_R. Take care.
