Join nowI watched the video for Correcting 1099s provided by Intuit in QBO. I am confident the correction was submitted to IRS. I am not clear if the Correct 1099-NEC was emailed to the client. The video mentioned reprinting them but I cannot find the steps to reprint other than Draft copy on Red copy. The client is setup to have the 1099-NEC emailed to them. Vendor did receive the email copy of the original. Will the vendor also receive via email the 1099-NEC Corrected copy, or are there additional steps to take to re-print a normal looking black and white copy of the 1099-NEC?

Hi, @menniscpa.
I'll share some information about the 1099-NEC correction in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
After the forms are corrected, please know that we're unable to email or mail the copies to your contractors. Otherwise, you'll want to provide a copy to the contractor yourself once you've already received the notification that the correction is done.

Thank you, I was not 100% sure on the mail or email. Also, in 2023 Tax Year, I am also assuming if the Corrected will not process again, that is the fact that it has been accepted by the IRS.
Glad to know we're able to provide the solution that you're looking for, menniscpa.
