The 1099-NEC form cannot currently be filed using QuickBooks Self-Employed. This software is intended to assist with tracking income, expenses, mileage, and taxes for annual tax filings and quarterly estimated tax payments.

Alternatively, you may consider subscribing to QuickBooks Advanced or QuickBooks Online Payroll, both of which enable you to file the 1099-NEC form.
