Desktop Version Sales Tax Glitch??

Just an FYI, not sure if this will affect anyone else but, I starting creating invoices and discovered that all our sales tax rates with more than 2 digits after the decimal point have been rounded to only 2 digits after the decimal point.  Looks like this happened mid month as that is when I found new estimates with the rounded rates!  Very annoying when we have over 100 different rates and partial-exemption rates!

Desktop Version Sales Tax Glitch??

I appreciate you reporting this issue about sales tax rounding off two decimal points, ShawnR.

I'm here to help share some insights about the rounding difference in QuickBooks.

When calculating a sales tax amount based on the invoice amount, this may round up or down automatically. You can make a sales tax adjustment to ensure an accurate record as a workaround. I'm sharing this article that offers complete details on processing sales tax adjustment: Process sales tax adjustment.

Additionally, you can utilize this link if you encounter problems while working on your sales tax: Resolve common sales tax issues.

If you need any additional assistance with taxes in QBDT, I am still here to help.

Thank you for the advice, but the rounding in a invoice was not the issue.  The system rounded all actual sales tax items in the item list.
