How can i record a sales tax payment manually? QB changed to new system on me and i want to do it manually.

I'll show you how to manually enter the sales tax amount, rfw471.

If you were able to set up sales tax, we'll just have to view the return and select File manually as the filing method. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Sales Tax.
  2. Click the View return button and then Select the filing method.
  3. Choose and click the File manually tab.
  4. Under the Record payment, enter the Tax amount, Payment date, and the Bank account used in paying the tax.
  5. Click Record payment

If you haven't set it up yet, and you'll manually write a check to enter the sales tax owed, you can use this reference on how to enter the sales tax amount manually

I'm just here if you need more help. You take care and have a great day!
