4Gal, I haven't seen anything definitive yet either.

Part of the troubleshooting of my earlier problem led me to the option of using QB Online to then use TurboTax, but I did definitively find that if you are using QB Online, you must use TurboTax Online (Live?).  I bailed on QB Online completely and was advised that TurboTax will be moving to an online only option in the future. I took from this I was perhaps, being encouraged to reconsider quitting QB Online, but with having had other issues with QB Online, that encouragement was unsuccessful. 

I used TurboTax H&B (installed from a retail disk) for ostensibly one last time this year.
