SORRY, AN ERROR OCCURRED
What does that mean to anyone that can read?????
Check it today. A user on here spoke with someone at the presidents office. Ked546 I do believe.
Thanks again.
Holy guacamole Batman! It’s fixxxxedddddddddd. Hell has officially frozen over.
Wow!! Can confirm!! Finally!!
Our sales tax's for each city just disappeared on or about the first week of January 2024 (over 75 for our business). This has put our company (and it sounds like others) at risk in so many ways. I have read all of these reviews and I am shocked. We were never told this was a system wide issue - go figure. Like most, are unable to receive payments (tax listed is incorrect), process a correct Sales Tax Liability Report to report to the California Dept of Tax and Fee Admin.; or even "add" back in the sales taxes for each city that disappeared. It shows "error".
We have talked with QB team members on several instances and are being told the same thing over and over. This is an urgent situation that QB needs to fix immediately, please.
Listening here. I am sorry this is happening. How frustrating.
Any other current updates from anyone at the end of Feb 2024 on this same problem? No resolution yet and this has become a nightmare.
I am not seeing any other current comments; so was there a fix for anyone?

My online QBO app is crashing due to sales tax currently. Tech support so far has not been helpful. I have reinstalled and tried on 2 other devices. This has to be due to a software update.
Thanks for being part of the Community, AmpdUpMike.

This information is not helpful. I contact Quickbooks and was add to a "investigation" yesterday. Now I am unable to provide invoices on phones (x2) or a tablet to my customers at time of service. This is not a me issue. This is a Quickbooks bug that needs to be fixed ASAP.
Please send an email to Office of the President. It was on a link from another comment. We did and they have been in touch. We have also had calls with a Project Manager. No resolution at this time but they are aware of our situation and trying to help us. It could be months. Once anyone changes from Classic Sales Tax to their "new" Automated Sales Tax" there is no way of going backwards. The crazy thing is is that there are many steps to change to "Automated" and nor any employee here or our company accountants claim they did this. Its not something one would forget.
Also QB did not take into account 3rd party contractor apps that sync into QB daily with a sales tax. Since this upgrade in January, the sales tax synced from JOIST is now incorrect in QB. It is not matching 100%. This is a problem that they are now actively working on from what we have been told. Hope this helps.
