I have tried everything I can think of to get this information elsewhere, but I am coming up empty. I did find a Quickbooks Tax-line Mapping Table (here), but it does not match with the contents of the menu.
Attached is a screenshot of the problematic menu. The problem is that I can't see the full description of most of the tax-lines available - they are cut off by the dropdown menu's dimensions. Hovering does not reveal the remainder of the description.
Can anyone point me to where ever (online or within QB) I might find the full actual list of the items on this tax-line menu?
Thanks in advance!

I have the same question, and the answers that are given below do not solve the problem. I've gone through them and I can extend the listing of the entries that are in my QB file BUT no matter, when I add a line in my Chart of Accounts, I also need to add the tax line mapping. QB only shows a mere fraction of the line. As in the original question .... we cannot see the entirety of the tax line - nor does it pop up if we try to hover over it .... we have no way to SEE what choice we are making. No, I don't have access to the Accountant menu. I am not an accountant, I am the end user trying to set up my account appropriately. HELP!
