I'd be glad to help you remove another state in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll.
All you have to do is to inactivate it by going to the Payroll Settings. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon, then choose Payroll Settings.
- Under Business Information, select Work Locations.
- Select the work locations you want to deactivate.
- Check the box for Mark a work location inactive if you no longer have employees at this site.
- Click Save.
