Printing 1099

I e -filed our 1099’s via QB online. I chose to download the file but it says the file is empty. I need to print a copy of the 1099’s for our records. How do I print the 1099’s?  Thanks

Printing 1099

Thanks for getting in touch with the Community, Termite14. I appreciate your detailed information.

When e-filing 1099s, you can choose to have them printed and mailed to employees. If you'd prefer to print or reprint them yourself, you can do so from the Taxes screen.

Here's how:

  1. In your left navigation bar, go to Taxes, then 1099 filings.
  2. Select View 1099 to view a PDF copy.

While viewing the PDF file, you'll be able to print or save a copy of it to your computer.

If your saved or printed copies aren't displaying correctly, you can troubleshoot some of the processes covered in our Fix printing issues article.

I've also included a detailed resource about printing 1099s which may come in handy moving forward: Print 1099 forms

Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a great Monday!
